Two con men, a beautiful woman and the elite of the French Riviera collide in a “sexy and irreverent farce.”  After meeting on a train, two swindlers attempt to work together, only to find that a small French town isn’t big enough for the two of them. Based on the 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin.

RAVENSCROFT

By Don Nigro
Directed by Rob Sanchez
October 22-November 1

On a snowy night, Inspector Ruffing is called to a remote mansion to investigate the death of Patrick Roarke, who plunged down the main staircase. As his investigation proceeds, Ruffing becomes involved in the lives of the five women who live there: Marcy, a Viennese governess with a past; Mrs. Ravenscroft, the flirtatious first lady of the manor; Gillian, her charming but possibly crazy daughter; Mrs. French, the formidable cook; and Dolly, a terrified maid. They lead him through a bewildering labyrinth of contradictory versions of Roarke’s death and the earlier death of Mr. Ravenscroft. It is all much more than Inspector Ruffing bargained for.
