Easton Library to Offer Needlecraft Program On Monday, Jan. 12, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library invites patrons to bring projects in progress (sewing, knitting, cross-stitch, what-have-you) and work along with a group. Limited instruction will be available for beginners. Newcomers welcome. All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program. On Thursday, January 15, from 6:00-7:30 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will have an “Open Mike Night for Teens” program. Teens (and teens only) are invited to read and/or perform their own or their favorite poem and/or sing or play music in front of an audience of their peers. St. Michaels Library to Screen Children’s Weather Movie
On Saturday, January 17, at 2:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a free screening of the “Eyewitness Weather Movie.” Children 7 and older are invited to take a whirlwind tour of Earth’s turbulent atmosphere and discover the forces that make the day fair or foul.
