Easton Library to Offer “Stitching Time”
On Monday, February 11, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will once again offer its popular “Stitching Time” program. Patrons are invited to work on their favorite needlecraft project with a group. Limited instruction will be available for beginners; newcomers welcome. Legendary Skipjack Capt. Wade Murphy to Tell All at the Easton Library
On Monday, February 11, at 6:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host an evening with local legend (and one of our area’s greatest storytellers) Captain Wade Murphy, skipper of the Rebecca Ruark. Read with Wally, a Pets on Wheels Therapy Dog at the St. Michaels Library

Easton Library to Offer Challenge Island: Penguins for Grades 1 – 5
On Wednesday, February 13, at 4:30 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library invites children in grades 1 – 5 to take a trip to Antarctica where they’ll meet some adorable penguins, learn about physical and behavioral adaptations that help penguins stay warm in a frigid climate, and how penguins are able to move through the snow. The children will work in tribes to design a penguin toboggan ride, upon which they will have a super sliding time!
