Easton Library to Offer Afternoon Chess for Youth 6 – 16 Years of Age
On Tuesday, February 18, at 4:30 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library invites youth 6 – 16 years of age to come in to learn and play chess. Light snacks will be served. St. Michaels Library to Screen Award-Winning Feature Film

On Thursday, February 20, at 3:45 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, the Young Gardeners program for children in grades 1 – 4 will be learning about Basket Weaving. This program is sponsored by the Talbot County Garden Club. St. Michaels Library to offer Watercolor Workshop
On Thursday, February 20, at 2:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host a watercolor workshop. This is the third in a series of four workshops held on Thursdays in February. This workshop will be presenting six instructional DVDs by the famous watercolorist Eric Weigardt. The DVDs show how to create better watercolor paintings from photographs. You will learn connecting shapes, color mixing, and more. Come and listen or bring your own paints or sketch books and follow along. No reservations are needed. All library programs are free and open to the public. Easton Library to Offer MY Tech Clinic-Free hands-on-help-Just in Time!
On Saturday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host two tech enthusiasts who want to give back to the community. They will provide free help with technology ranging from (but not limited to) laptops, cell phones, setting up accounts, and Microsoft Office. The will be providing monthly clinics at the Easton library, as well as other libraries and facilities. Individuals can come in with their devices and ask questions which pertain to technology or involves using technology. All library programs are free and open to the public.
