Easton Library to Host “Stitching Time”
On Monday, March 11, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host “Stitching Time,” its popular needlecraft program. Patrons are invited to come in and work on their favorite project with a group. Limited knitting and crochet instruction will be available for beginners. Easton Library to Help 8th Graders Become More Comfortable with Entering High School
On Tuesday, March 12, at 6:00 p.m., the Easton Branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host a program run by high school students for 8th graders. “Peer Pilots: Fly into a Day in the Life of a High Schooler” is designed to make the transition from middle school to high school easier and less anxiety-provoking. The program will feature games, snacks, and small group activities to foster relationships between 8th grade students and high school students. This program hopes to help students prepare for their journey into adulthood. All library programs are free and open to the public. Select authors out of the 300+ this distinguished literary journal has now published—including Sue Ellen Thompson, George Merrill, Kelley Katharine Malone, Kate Blackwell, Meredith Davies Hadaway, Anne Colwell, Wendy Ingersoll, and Bill Peak—will read from their work.
