Easton Library to Host Discussion of Virginia Woolf’s “To the Lighthouse”
On Monday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, library guy Bill Peak returns to host a discussion by the Easton book group (open to all) of his all-time favorite novel, Virginia Woolf’s “To the Lighthouse.”
Eudora Welty described Woolf’s masterpiece as “at once ethereal and firm, as only a vision can be…[Woolf] has shown us the shape of the human spirit.”The New York Times called Woolf herself “the chief figure of modernism in England ….”

Easton Library Lunch & Learn to Explain 3D Printing
On Tuesday, March 19, at noon, in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, library staffer Amy Wise will describe the process, technology, and uses of 3D printing.
Wise has been learning everything she can about 3D printing and Virtual Reality as a part of an Innovation grant the library received last year. She will have several printers running so that attendees can see for themselves what this amazing technology is capable of.

Bruce E. Mowday, Author of “Stealing Wyeth,”to Speak at Easton Library

Mowdaywill talk his new book, “Stealing Wyeth,” which details the theft of millions of dollars worth of paintings from the estate of the famous Brandywine artist. Mowday’s book describes the journey the purloined paintings made through the United States, the vicious criminals that stole them, and the law enforcement team that successfully tracked down both the paintings and the crooks.All library programs are free and open to the public.
