Excel Class: Charts & Graphs
Monday, December 2, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Computer Training Specialist Rita Hill will teach you the ins and outs of using Microsoft’s Excel program to produce charts and graphs. Bring your own PC laptop or just sit and observe (no Macs please).
Art Exhibit: “Reflections on Botanical Art”
Reflections on Botanical Art will be on exhibit in the Easton Branch of the Talbot County Free Library from December 4 to December 31. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, December 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Free Family Law Assistance Available at Easton Library
Thursday, December 5, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. A lawyer will provide free consultation to patrons on how to represent themselves and complete forms for divorce, custody, visitation, child support, name change, guardianship, adoption, and juvenile expungement.
Holiday Card Making
Wednesday, December 11, 10:30 a.m. – noon. ‘Tis the season for spreading joy. What better way than to present a handmade card to family and friends. These are easy and fun to make. This is an adult program. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Lunch & Learn: “Reflections on Botanical Art”
Thursday, December 12, noon. A fusion of art and science, botanical art has pleased and educated mankind for thousands of years. As part of their exhibit (on view in the Easton library December 4 – 31), Talbot County artists Lee D’Zmura and Anna Harding will discuss the origins of botanical art and its evolution into a beloved contemporary art form.
Therapeutic Horticulture

Easton Book Group Decides Its Titles for 2020
Monday, December 16, 6:30 p.m. Join the Easton Book Group (open to all) for a celebratory holiday meeting in which the group will decide which books to discuss in the coming year. In 2020, in honor of the 100 th anniversary of women’s suffrage, the group will focus on books by or about women.
Stitching Time
Monday, December 23, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Work on your favorite project (knitting, crochet, card making, what-have-you) with a group. Limited knitting and crochet instruction will be provided for beginners. All are welcome!
