There are many programs available for children and adults at both the Easton and St. Michaels branches of the Talbot County Free Library in January.
Of special note is the Friends of the Library annual gala: Among Friends . . . 1925 Characters and Conversations of the Era. It will be held Friday, January 29, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. In a salute to TCFL’s 90th anniversary, meet George Bernard Shaw, Gertrude Stein, Aldous Huxley, and other notable characters from 1925. Wine and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets: $50 if purchased before January 15. All proceeds benefit Friends of the Library.
