OCEAN ORCHESTRA, the acclaimed 7-member Celtic folk-rock fusion band, is powered by the soaring vocals of Lisa Moscatiello and the creative genius of composer/arranger Jennifer Cutting (keyboard and accordion), moving from ethereal to high-energy in a heartbeat. Also featured are Steve Winick on vocals and percussion, Andrew Dodds on fiddle, plus Rico Petruccelli on bass, Robbie Magruder on drums and Tim Carey on highland bagpipes.
CHRIS NOYES is renowned for her glorious voice, her mesmerizing vocal duets with Lisa Moscatiello, and for her guitar and ukulele playing. She is beloved by the masses for her years of music teaching on the Eastern Shore and acclaimed public performances. She was a long-time member of the popular Crab Alley band and has toured and recorded with the Ocean Quartet and Orchestra; her solo CD, Mirrorstones, remains a favorite among her many fans.
TINSMITH is a high-energy folk band playing traditional music of Ireland, Scotland and Appalachia. Citing influences from blues to bluegrass, from funk to jazz to mountain music, they are known for their great taste in songs and tunes and dynamic arrangements. The trio features WAMMIE-winning vocalist Brooke Parkhurst (banjo, Irish flute, tin whistles) superb bassist Henry Cross, and the multi-talented Rowan Corbett (guitar, bouzouki, bones, djembe). Rowan is also touring with the Grammy Award-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops and Rhiannon Giddens.
