Shore Bancshares, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Debra Rich to Vice President Chief Project Officer. Ms. Rich joined Shore Bancshares in 2011 as the Executive Assistant.
In her new position, Ms. Rich will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, reporting, and completion of business projects defined by Executive Management. “I am looking forward to being a part of the positive future outcomes of Shore Bancshares”, says Ms. Rich.
Ms. Rich is a graduate of Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration and a concentration in communications. Prior to her employment in 2011 with Shore Bancshares, Ms. Rich worked for Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc., as Vice President of Alternative Delivery Services and specialized in call centers, work force management, quality, product management and participated on the mergers and acquisition team. “Debra has over 23 years of financial banking experience and we are happy to have her on our team”, says, President/COO, Scott Beatty.
In addition to her professional career, Ms. Rich serves on two local community boards; Shore Leadership developing leadership skills and awareness of regional issues on the Eastern Shore of Maryland; and Phillips Wharf Environmental Center in Tilghman offering hands on learning experiences to children and adults on how the plants and animals of the Chesapeake Bay are impacted by the decisions humans make every day.
Debra and her husband Bob live in St. Michaels, MD and are active members of St. Marks’s United Methodist Church in Easton, MD.
