Saints Secure Home Field Advantage For Playoffs

May 9, 2012 by George Dabrowski "Voice of the Saints"

Share

On Monday afternoon the St Michaels High School Varsity baseball team defeated St Peter & Paul 36 to 2.   This victory secured home field advantage for the Saints throughout the Maryland State (ONE A) East Region playoffs.

The tentative play-off schedule has St Michaels at home Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week as long as they keep winning.  This is a single elimination play-off or as they say on the field “Lose one and done”.  The opponent for Monday is not known at this writing.

Be sure to join us at Baines Field in downtown St Michaels on Monday May 14, and cheer the Saints on to victory.  The game will start at 4PM (Weather permitting) and the snack bar will be open with the “BEST HOT DOGS IN TALBOT COUNTY”.
