Cardin, who is is running for his second term in the Senate, is a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and has been an active advocate for restoring the fisheries of the Chesapeake Bay. He also serves on the finance, budget, small business and foreign relations committees.
“Senator Cardin along with Senator Barbara Mikulski just recently fought very hard to keep our Easton Mail Processing Center open and saved a lot of local jobs,” Scharch said. “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to show our appreciation to him for all he does for us here on the Eastern Shore.”
Membership in the club is $20 a year and application forms will be available at the meeting.
