The 29th annual Eastern Shore High School Mathematics Competition will be held at Salisbury University on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Sixty students from 20 schools in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia will participate in the event, which is designed to test students’ math and problem-solving skills.

Delmarva Power, The Klein G. and Mary Lee Leister Foundation, and Salisbury University’s Department of Mathematics & Computer Science are cosponsoring the event.

If you would like to cover this event as a news story, the best video, photo and interview opportunity will occur on Thursday, November 8 between 10 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. for “team testing.” This activity will take place in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri Center (located off Dogwood Drive) at Salisbury University.

You are also invited to attend the awards ceremony in The Bistro in the Commons Building (located near the Guerrieri Center), starting at 1 p.m. on November 8.
