Easton Library to Offer Needlecraft Program

On Monday, December 9, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will once again offer its popular “Stitching Time” program.  Patrons are invited to knit, crochet, or stitch with a group.  Limited instruction will be available for beginners.  All library programs are free and open to the public.  Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.

Teens to Make Christmas Ornaments at Library

On Tuesday, December 10, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will put on a program especially for teens.  “Make and Take Christmas Ornaments” will give teens the chance to create a variety of handmade ornaments for tree or gift.  All library programs are free and open to the public.  Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.

St. Michaels Library to Screen “Oz the Great and Powerful”

On Tuesday, December 10, at noon, the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a free showing on its big screen of the award-winning film “Oz the Great and Powerful.”  The PG-rated film was released in earlier this year and stars James Franco and Rachel Weisz.  All library programs are free and open to the public.  Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-745-5877, or visit www.tcfl.org.

St. Michaels Library Memoir Writing Program to Continue

On Thursdays, December 12 – February 6 (always excepting the first Thursday of each month), from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will continue to offer its popular Memoir Writing program.  Patrons are invited to bring their lunch and record and share their memories of life and family with a group of friendly, like-minded people.  All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-745-5877, or visit www.tcfl.org.
