Londonderry on Tred Avon in Easton, MD, is pleased to announce several new appointments to its leadership team. Irma Toce has been named Executive Director after joining the organization as its Sales Consultant in the spring of 2014. Toce, who follows Andy Hollis as Executive Director, has been instrumental in breaking the organization’s sales records, bringing Londonderry to 100% occupancy over the last year, which is well above industry standard.
Toce, who is from Windsor, CT, has been a consultant with Senior Living and Home Care since March 2012. Prior to that she was employed with Senior Lifestyle Corporation as its Regional Director of Operations for the Northeast, providing comprehensive oversight of the operations for nine senior living communities in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Agogische Akademie Friesland in the Netherlands and a Certification in Therapeutic Recreation from Manchester Community College.
Toce comments, “This is a very exciting time for Londonderry on Tred Avon. We are thrilled to see these new additions to our staff, which complement the physical changes Londonderry is undergoing as well this spring. These team members bring a level of energy and expertise to our offerings here and we are pleased they have joined us.”
In addition to Toce, Londonderry has appointed Jennifer L. Kenton Hughes of Preston, MD, as Londonderry’s Accounting and IT Coordinator. This is a promotion for Hughes who has been at Londonderry since November 2005 working in dining services. She is currently enrolled in the University of Maryland University College Online Program to complete a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration. She also attended Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD where she completed a Certificate in Office Technology.
In the area of dining services, Londonderry has made many new and exciting changes in both its physical appearance and menu offerings. Chris Kelso of Easton, MD, is the newly appointed Director of Dining Services. He completed an AAS in Professional Cooking from Baltimore International College, Baltimore, MD. Prior to joining Londonderry’s management team, Kelso was the General Manager at Jimmie N Sooks in Cambridge, MD. He has also served as the Food and Beverage Manager for the Wicomico Yacht Club in Allen, MD and as executive chef at the Meadowview Conference Center (Marriott International) in Kingsport, TN. Kris is assisted by Kirsten Mullins of Rhodesdale, MD, who was recently appointed as Dining Room Supervisor at Londonderry. Prior to coming to Londonderry, Mullins was the bartender and Assistant Manager of The High Spot in Cambridge, MD. She attended Chesapeake Community College.
