Sheriff Joe Gamble was sworn in as the Sheriff of Talbot County in December of 2014 after having served with the Maryland State Police for over 27 years. During those years he served as a uniformed patrol trooper, undercover narcotics investigator and as a homicide investigator and later the commander of the state wide Maryland State Police Homicide Unit. Joe Gamble has investigated and supervised murder investigations and police involved shootings in every county in Maryland. He also worked in and supervised drug task forces on the Eastern Shore.

On Thursday, September 17, 2015 Sheriff Gamble will discuss the activities of the sheriff’s office in Talbot County, along with timely and important issues such as crime trends and cyber bullying. The program will be held at 12 noon at the Easton Branch of the Talbot County Free Library, 100 West Dover Street, Easton, Md.

Please join us to hear about these important issues and to learn more about what your Sheriff’s office is doing every day to ensure the safety of Talbot County residents.
