On Sunday Dec 6th at 6:00PM the Tilghman United Methodist Church is hosting a free Christmas Concert of old fashioned music. Come back to an earlier time; with the warm welcome of friends old and new, the smell of fresh pine, glowing stained glass windows and music that means Christmas, you will feel like you have come home.
The concert has three acts and features brass, choruses and Isaiah Embert at the piano. The evening starts with traditional music by the Bay Hundred Christian Men, a group from 5 local churches. They are followed by Wittman’s Men’s Choir of New St Johns U.M.C. and the show then ends with a flourish of music by the brass quintet Burnished Brass.
The Music of Tilghman Concerts are sponsored by the Tilghman United Methodist Church, with support from the Tilghman Watermen’s Museum and partially sponsored by the Talbot County Arts Council with funds provided by the Talbot County Council and the Towns of Easton, Oxford, and St. Michael.
