Talbot County Arts Council president Peggy Ford of Easton has retired from the organization’s board of directors after the maximum allowable six years of continuous service. She was honored during the organization’s annual retreat on May 20, during which her successor as president, Robert J. Forloney of St. Michaels, presented her with an Arts Council commemorative bowl. Also departing the Arts Council after two non-successive six-year terms, and honored with an Arts Council mug to go with his previously-awarded bowl, was former vice president Dick Hott of Easton. The retreat was held at the home of Arts Council board member and treasurer Carol Gordean and husband Bill Gordean on Solitude Creek near St. Michaels.
