Easton Library to Hold Board Game Night for Teens
On Thursday, January 25, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host a board game night for teens. Teens are invited to bring their own tabletop card and board games or use the library’s Catan, Ticket to Ride, Chess, and more! This program is for grades 6 – 12. Light refreshments will be served. Easton Library to Host Annual “Among Friends” Gala
On Friday, January 26, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., The Friends of the Talbot County Free Library invite you to join them in the library’s Easton branch for “Charades with a Twist: Acting Out at the Library,” a fun-filled evening of wonderful food, delectable drink, lively entertainment, and scintillating conversation. Supporters of the library are asked to come prepared to solve dramatically presented clues that will challenge their knowledge of book titles and authors.
The gala will be catered this year by the Chesapeake Culinary Center. Local supporting businesses include: Accounting Strategies Group, A. M. Gravely Gallery, Avon-Dixon Agency, Captain’s Ketch, Crackerjacks, Doc’s Downtown Grill, Graul’s Market, The Green Phoenix, The Hill Group at Morgan Stanley, Hill’s Café and Juice Bar, Kiln Born Creations, Limoncello Restaurant, Londonderry on the Tred Avon, News Center of Easton, Parker Counts, Rise-Up-Coffee, St. Michaels Winery, Salisbury Gift & Garden Center, Scossa Restaurant, Shore Projects, Shore United Bank, Silver Linings, and St. Michaels Winery.
