Summer Camps - Teen boy

Student enjoying the Academy Art Museum’s diverse creative summer camps for students age 6 through high school.

The Academy Art Museum in Easton, MD, offers summer camps for students age 6 through high school. Younger children will enjoy camps about writing and illustrating books, Sumi-e painting, sculpture, and even medieval castles. The Museum’s signature week-long Kaleidoscope camp offers exploration of multiple mediums and the opportunity to get really messy!

Middle grade students will have a great time at Surrealist camp, or classes on cartooning, stop motion, or Claymation, which starts in the clay studio and ends in the digital media studio, which is equipped with cutting-edge technology. High school students can sharpen their skills with figure drawing, plein air painting with artist Diane DuBois Mullaly, who has consistently been juried in to Easton’s annual renowned plein air festival, and advanced digital media design.

Many camps sell out, so reserve early! Check out our offerings online at academyartmuseum.org or call 410-822-2787 for more information. The Academy Art Museum is a recent recipient of a TripAdvisor 2016 Certificate of Excellence.
