A presentation on strokes and TIAs by M. W Kamsheh, M.D., a board certified neurologist, will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Brookletts Place – Talbot Senior Center in Easton, Md.The program is offered as a public service by the Academy for Lifelong Learning at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
Dr. Kamsheh will present vital information on strokes, including the types of stokes, leading risk factors and prevention, symptoms, management, and the latest treatments.
Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the United States and affects nearly 800,000 people a year. Nearly 80 percent of strokes could be prevented, yet someone dies of one every four minutes.
