As she created artwork for the St. Michaels Art League’s banner program, Ann’s style has evolved into bold graphic scenes of local landmarks & Chesapeake Bay icons. These colorful images proved so popular that she now offers high-quality prints and gift items such as greeting cards, coasters, necklaces, and magnets. These make great gifts for all who love the Chesapeake Bay!
Ann will have a solo show in the art gallery at the back of the St. Michaels Library from June 1 through June 30. Expect to see some of Ann’s largest symmetrical circularmandala-like artwork, along with new original designs featuring fun local images.
She will be the Featured Artist at The Green Phoenix during Easton’s First Friday Gallery Walk. Stop by 31 N. Harrison St. on Friday, June 3, from 5 to 7:30 pm, to meet Ann and see her at work. The Green Phoenix’s owner, Andi Tassencourt, has encouraged Ann to expand her product line, so come see some surprise new gift items featuring Ann’s original images.
Ann will also be a part of a special show at The Candleberry Gallery in St. Michaels from June 6 through 28. A diverse group of local artists will display giclees, high-quality affordable reproductions of their original artwork. Ann’s original images look fantastic on stretched canvases and are ready for hanging in your home or business.
As we kick off the summer season on the Shore, Ann looks forward to sharing her playful artwork with you. You can find her work at the venues above, at RiverArts Gift Shop and Tracy’s Smoothie Place in Chestertown, and at Le Hatchery in Easton.
