The Eagleman 2023 Triathlon organizers are calling for Swim Safety Volunteers for the event on Sunday, June 11th, 2023. The goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all competitors.
The race director confirmed the swim course, starting at the boat ramp and finishing at the sandy beach. Feedback is invited regarding the World Triathlon Corporation’s proposal to hold Eagleman and IRONMAN Maryland on the same weekend starting in June 2024, and potential impacts on the swim segment and Swim Safety Team’s support.
To register as a volunteer, visit the Eagleman registration page, select the swim safety segment and desired subspecialty, such as kayaking or paddleboarding. Loaner equipment will be available; indicate the need on the registration form.
Updates on assignments, timing, and team support structure will be provided as the event approaches. Volunteer Local will monitor volunteer staffing.
