Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s 18th Annual Boating Party Set for September 12

June 11, 2015 by Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

Share

The committee for the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s 18th Annual Boating Party—A Broad Reach on the Bay: Charting our Course—have set the event’s date for Saturday, September 12, 2015. The signature gala benefits the children and adults served through the museum’s educational programs.

The boating party committee includes Jocelyn Eysymontt, Debbie Lawrence, Patrice Miller, Bruce Ragsdale, Lelde Schmitz, Diane Staley, and Carolyn Williams.

The fundraising gala begins at 5:00 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres along the museum’s waterfront, followed by a tented dinner catered by PeachBlossoms Events. The evening culminates with dancing under the stars to the Motown sounds of the XPDs.

This year’s Boating Party commemorates CBMM’s 50th anniversary, with a mission to preserve and explore the history, environment and people of the Chesapeake Bay through education, exhibition, and boat restoration programs.

Boating Party tickets are now available at $250 per person—of which $150 is tax deductible—with table and corporate sponsorships welcome. To reserve your table or tickets, call the museum’s Vice President of Constituent Services, René Stevenson, at 410-745-4950.
