• The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maryland is now at 1,003,039 an increase of 405 in the past 24 hours.
• In the past 24 hours,11 people died as a result of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 13,883.
• The state’s average positivity rate is 2.06%, down .13 percentage points from yesterday.
• The number of patients currently hospitalized is 374, down 17 from yesterday.

I just want to point out that The Talbot County Health Department has now stated that because the CDC changed their criteria for transmission rate, Talbot County is now in the “Low” transmission category.
I also want to point out that it was posted on their Facebook page. Please correct me if I am wrong.
