DAR Eastern Shore Chapters Gather for Annual Luncheon

August 19, 2014 by Daughters of the American Revolution

Share

The Miles River Yacht Club was the site for a gathering of 70 members of the Daughters of the American Revolution on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This annual event was hosted by the General Perry Benson Chapter for 2014.

State Regent Linda Mistler attended and provided information on the exciting projects she has set for the Maryland daughters. She reported that there have been two new state scholarships established, one for Maryland C.A.R. members (Children of the American Revolution) and a scholarship for a Native American descendant of an established Maryland tribe.

A donation to these scholarship funds was presented to the State Regent.

If you are interested in information about or believe you are eligible for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution, please visit www.dar.org
