Gunston Spring Sports Awards Dinner & HOF Induction May 16

Ned Southworth, 2013 Hall of Fame Inductee

On May 16, The Gunston School will host its annual Spring Sports Awards Dinner. This year’s dinner will induct the second class for the Gunston Hall of Fame (HOF). Men’s Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach and Gunston’s Director of Institutional Advancement Edward B. Southworth IV will be honored and recognized for the various coaching positions he has held throughout his 12-year career at Gunston.

Positions include:

-Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach (2003-2013)

-Men’s Soccer Head Coach (2002-2006)

-Women’s Basketball Head Coach (2005-2010)

-Women’s Soccer Inaugural Head Coach (2007-2010)

The evening’s events take place in the Gunston Field House at 5:30 p.m. and include a catered dinner, followed by the HOF Induction and Gunston’s spring sports awards. The following teams will be recognized: crew, sailing, tennis, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. The community is welcome to attend. Admission is $12 per person.
