Learn How Acupuncture Can Alleviate Headaches and Migraines

November 3, 2014 by UM Shore Regional Health

ByerlySilvia-0409Are you tired of missing family time because you have a debilitating headache? Do migraine headaches force you to call out sick from work? Are you frustrated because medicines don’t significantly reduce the frequency and severity of your headaches?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you will want to attend a free presentation, “Relief from Headaches and Migraines,” offered by Silvia Byerly, L.AC., M.Ac., on Monday, November 10, 6 p.m., at the UM Shore Regional Health Center for Integrative Medicine in Easton..

Byerly find that her clients with migraine or other headaches experience good result after acupuncture treatment that is tailored for headaches and migraines. “Another benefit is there are no side effects from acupuncture, only headache relief and a feeling of well being,” she says.

A licensed acupuncturist and certified detoxification specialist with a master’s degree from Maryland University for Integrative Medicine, Byerly treats a variety of medical conditions, including back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches, women’s issues, stress and gastro-intestinal issues. She uses electro-acupuncture, cupping, and essential oils as appropriate in conjunction with acupuncture treatments, and partners with her clients in creating a path to better physical and emotional health.

Due to limited space, advance registration for this seminar is required by November 6, 5 p.m. To ask questions or reserve a space, call the Center for Integrative Medicine, 410-770-9400.
