If we want civility to return to the Easton Town Council, we will have to vote for change. Don Abbatiello will provide just that refreshing, new approach that we need.
Working on every level for the Town of Easton— as a firefighter, a teacher, and on the town council — Don has more than demonstrated his commitment to our community.
We need change. We need Don as our new Town Council President. Let us help bring this body up to the level of commitment that our community deserves.

I agree 100%! As an independent, Councilman Don Abbatiello is not beholden to funding from a political party or special interest groups, his campaign is backed by his constituents and residents of the Town of Easton. Don has demonstrated time and again that he is responsive, deliberative and transparent in his decisions. He will bring a much needed reset to the Town Council, one devoid of the division and rancor that has been allowed to seep into too many Council meetings. Council members deserve a professional atmosphere in which to work, where differences of opinion can be voiced without retribution and aggression, and that’s what Don will bring to the table. He has the experience and the demeanor necessary to do the job. Don is for ALL of the residents of Easton!

I quite agree. I have learned over the long years that collegiality is the first rule in governance, that one who is first-among-equals elevates others at the table to be sure of the equality of their voices. In the conciliar sense, presidency is an ingathering role. It’s this conciliar, civil sense that I’ve seen in Don Abbatiello. That, and because he’s an educator.
