Letter to Editor: Why I Support Bob Willey for Easton Council President

August 25, 2023 by Letter to Editor

Share

As we know, Bob Willey served our community through town government for over 30 years. Bob served diligently and provided leadership excellence on both the Town Council and as Mayor. The town of Easton has reaped the benefits of his forward thinking and business acumen.

Thanks to his sound financial decisions, Easton now has a very stable tax rate, is attracting new businesses, and has viable plans to address smart growth and attainable workforce housing.

Bob Willey listens to the community, is open to feedback, and leads by example – all while infusing a good sense of humor to the issues of the day. He has a firm grasp of the critical matters and concerns now facing our community, and will provide the leadership needed for thoughtful problem solving. In summary, Bob has an enormous capacity for unselfishly serving the community.

On the September 12th election, let’s make an informed decision to elect Bob Willey as Easton Town Council President. He will bring his experience, knowledge, and unwavering commitment to serve Easton at the highest levels. He is the clear choice for this important role.
