The St. Michaels Art League is pleased to announce the annual Martha Hudson Watercolor Show that will take place at the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library. The show will open on December Fifth and be open to the public until the Twenty-ninth of December.

Martha was well known for her Landscapes, Wildlife, and Marine Watercolors. A founding member of The Traveling Brushes, she is one of the area’s most treasured watercolor artists. She was active in our art community, was a well known instructor, and her paintings are collected by admirers worldwide. Martha has endowed the St. Michaels Art league with an annual award for, “Excellence In Watercolor”, and this event will showcase watercolor artists of the Art League.

Artwork will be for sale through the artists. The Library is located at 106 Fremont Street during library hours, Monday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon.

This program is funded in part by a grant from the Talbot County Arts Council with revenues provided by the Maryland State Arts Council.
