Plan on Nor’easter Arriving Late Tuesday

November 24, 2013 by The Spy

Share

The National Weather Service NWS- Mt. Holly has reported the possibility of a Nor’easter late Tuesday, November 26 through November 27th.

Some snow is possible in Eastern PA to North Western New Jersey – the amounts, if at all, are still uncertain at this time.
Coastal flooding is possible, minor at this point. Arctic winds will come prior to this event.  Looking at temperatures in the mid 20s to mid 30s on Sunday.  Winds will be around 25-35mph, this will cause the ‘real feel’ to be between the 10s and the 20s.
This storm is still developing and more information is being gathered.  As soon as more is known, OES will forward the information.

Parents……want to inspire your kids to greatness? Bring them to the Avalon Theater on Nov 30th. Let them see young musicians who have worked hard for years to develop their musical skills, who have shown determination, dedication and guts to overcome their fears of performing live. I’m so proud of our performing musicians and their willingness to share their talents with the public. This event will be the culmination of lots of hard work between myself, Shea Springer and my students over the past year. Back in January Shea & I teamed up to offer Recording Classes and Band Camps to my students (and other local young musicians) with the hopes of giving the students experience recording and perhaps forming bands. Four bands that we have helped will be featured on Nov 30th at the Avalon. I hope there are lots of other young people in the audience who will be inspired to learn an instrument, learn to sing or maybe start a band. That’s how I got started after seeing a band at the local high school. Get there early, we’ll probably start the show at 7:30pm. Tickets $10 at the door. Cheers!
