Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament June 4 for Shore Regional Cancer Center

The 6th Annual Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament benefiting the Cancer Center at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health is set for Thursday, June 4 at Heritage Shores Golf Club in Bridgeville, Del. Check-in time is 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

The privately hosted annual event supports the David Whitby Memorial Fund to help advance health care excellence and improve outcomes for prostate cancer patients treated at the Cancer Center in Easton. Registration and sponsorship opportunities are still available.

Format for the tournament is Florida Scramble. Prizes will be awarded to division winners, long drive winner and four closest to the pin winners. Following the Tournament, there will be a buffet dinner and awards ceremony, silent auction and prize drawings in the Heritage Shores Ballroom. Event sponsors include Peninsula Urology, Ruark Golf, Preston Automotive Group (hole-in-one prize) and Holly Kia (two separate hole-in-one prizes).
