I’m writing to you in hopes your readers will consider supporting the 2nd Annual Channel Marker Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 22nd, at the Easton Club. Last year’s tournament was a great success and we’re excited for another big event.
Channel Marker is a phenomenal organization in Talbot, Dorchester, and Caroline Counties which supports and provides services to those with mental illness. I am passionate about the importance of Channel Marker’s role in our community.
Hopefully, you can put a team together to play (scramble format) or perhaps be a hole sponsor for the tournament. Two lucky players will take a shot from 165 yards for $1 Million! There will also be a hole-in-one prize to win a NEW CAR along with other great prizes and contests. All golfers get a FREE ticket to the evening crab feast (same day), which is also at the Easton Club from 5-8PM. The evening Crab Feast also raises money for Channel Marker and is a great time and very family friendly! The attached flyer has all pertinent info to sign up a team or to be a sponsor.
The crab feast will also have a live auction, and so another great way to support is to donate an auction item!
