Summertime….in St. Michaels — Chris Noyes Concert In The Park

August 17, 2012 by Kathy Bosin

Share

Claiborne’s Chris Noyes sang like an angel Thursday evening in Muskrat Park. Joined at times by her brother Tom and daughter Audrey, Chris sang a variety of popular and original works, playing guitar and ukelele. One of the original members of the Chesapeake Bay Folk Trio, Crab Alley, Chris has been writing and making music since the early 1980s.

Listeners came in to Muskrat Park on bikes, on foot, on kayaks, jetskis and boats. Kids, dogs and families relaxed on the soft grass. Trish Payne sold popcorn and collected donations for the St. Michaels Community Center, sponsor for the weekly summer event.

There are only three more Thursday evening concerts in the park for the 2012 series – don’t miss! Click here for info.
