TCPS Announces School Year 2018/2019 Registration and Open Enrollment

Talbot County Public Schools will hold registration for new Pre-K and Kindergarten students at all elementary schools on March 29th and April 6, 2018. A Spanish interpreter will be available at Easton Elementary School ONLY.

Registration for all grade levels will be available on April 7 at the Community Resource Expo at Easton Elementary Moton. A Spanish interpreter will be available.

Please bring registration forms, which may be found online at www.talbotschools.org or in any school building. Forms will also be available the day of registration. In addition, you must bring the following documents:

1. Up-to-date immunization record
2. Birth Certificate (proof of custody)
3. Social Security Card
4. Parent or Guardian with ID
5. Proof of Current Grade (if transferring from another school)
6. Income Verification (Pre-K only)
7. Proof of Residency (signed lease/deed or electric bill)

Families will also need two of the following: (name on the Supplemental ID must match the name of the Proof of Residence)
• Driver’s License
• W-2 Form
• Bank Statement
• Voter Registration Card
• Pay Stub
• Income Tax Return

Talbot County Public Schools is accepting applications for out-of-area enrollment for all grades at Tilghman Elementary School (TES). There will be limited bus transportation available to transport students from Saint Michaels Elementary School to and from TES. Families wishing to learn more about Tilghman Elementary School may contact the school at 410-886-2391 for more information or to arrange a tour. Out of area requests for any school other than Tilghman Elementary will be evaluated based on 2017-2018 enrollment as of April 30, 2018. All out-of-area requests are due to student services by June 1, and parents will be notified of approval/denial by June 30.
