The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum announces its 2025 Holiday Display. For most of the year, the museum is committed to celebrating, documenting, preserving, and sharing the history, traditions, heritage, and culture of Tilghman Island. But in December, we are committed to all that plus holiday fun!

Come visit us on Saturday/Sunday from 10:00 – 3:00:

  • December 6 and 7
  • December 13 and 14
  • December 20 and 21

Downstairs you’ll find a holiday train layout, dozens of nutcrackers, a Dickens village, and even some of the museum exhibits. Upstairs the room is filled with decorated trees, lots of lights, candy canes for all, and plenty of holiday spirit.

For even more fun, plan your visit for December 6 for An Island Christmas. You can visit the museum (which will stay open until 5:00 pm that day), visit with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, watch the lighting of Talbot Watermen’s Association crab basket Christmas tree (at 5:00 pm), and watch the Tilghman Island Boat Parade through Knapps Narrows (at 6:00 pm), just a block from the museum.

Located in the Lee House at 6031 Tilghman Island Road, the museum will open for the first three weekends in December, and it then will be closed until spring. For additional information, contact us by email: [email protected] or visit our website: www.tilghmanmuseum.org
