Saturday, October 6th Trappe-toberFEST returns to the park on Main Street in Trappe. Trappe-toberFEST is a small town’s celebration of fall and community. This outdoor event takes place in a grassy park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features a day of free family oriented entertainment. FREE admission, FREE parking, FREE kids craft area, and FREE first class entertainment are the hallmarks of this festival now celebrating its 6th year.
Sponsored by the Town of Trappe with the assistance of volunteers, and donations from the private sector, Trappe-toberFEST has something for everyone. A variety of food vendors prepare tempting food and treats for purchase while attendees browse the vendors selling crafts and services. A dedicated kidz craft area boasts a variety of free make and take activities for children as well as bounce toys to work off some energy.
Rounding out the festival is the entertainment ranging from up and coming local young talent to a community band, Free and Eazy, playing music from the 40’s and 50’s, the popular Bay Country Chorus and closing the event will be the jazz band Project Natale. Not to be forgotten, a roving magician, fire safety drill and plein air demonstration. Trappe-toberFEST-come celebrate fall in Trappe!
