St. Michaels Library to Screen Children’s Film
On Monday, August 7, at noon, the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will screen an award-winning animated film rated PG. St. Michaels Library to Offer Summer Crafts
On Monday, August 7, at 3:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a program of family crafts for children of all ages. All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons do not need to pre-register to attend this program. Easton Library to Offer Origami Class
On Tuesday, August 8, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a class in Origami for patrons 8 and older. St. Michaels Library to Offer Children’s International Music
On Wednesday, August 9, at 10:30 a.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host the international children’s music of Mr. Don. This program is supported with funds from the Talbot County Arts Council and the Maryland State Arts Council. All library programs are free and open to the public, but free tickets are required to attend this program and may be picked up at the library’s St. Michaels branch beginning one week prior to the performance. On Wednesdays, August 9 & 23, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library invites patrons to come in to learn and play the time-honored strategic game of chess. Beginners welcome. All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons do not need to pre-register to participate in this program. On Thursdays, August 10 & 24, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library invites patrons to record and share their memories of life and family with a group of friendly, like-minded people. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch. All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to pre-register for this program.
