Easton Library to Offer Stitching Time
On Monday, August 13, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library invites patrons to come in and work on their favorite project with a group. Limited instruction will be available for beginners, and newcomers are welcome. All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons do not need to pre-register to participate in this program.

St. Michael Library to Screen Animated Film
On Monday, August 13, at noon, the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will show an Academy Award-nominated, animated film, rated PG, on the library’s big, professional screen. St. Michaels Library Presents “The Life of Frederick Douglass”—a Live Performance!
On Tuesday, August 14, at 2:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library invites children 5 – 12 years of age to come in to the library’s St. Michaels branch enjoy a live performance of “The Life of Frederick Douglass” by Bomani. A poet with Hip Hop style, Bomani, and Frederick Douglass, will teach the children about the Great Orator’s love of reading. All library programs are free and open to the public. The Library’s Summer Reading Grand Finale!
On Thursday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m., the Talbot County Free Library will celebrate the Grand Finale of its 2018 Summer Reading Program in the library’s Easton branch. There will be oyster games, refreshments, and door prizes. Sherman the Shorebird will make an appearance, and the drawing will be held to determine the winner of this year’s Summer Reading Program Grand Prize!
