Young Writers’ Camp (for ages 10 – 16)
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, August 6 – 8, 2:00 -3:00 p.m. Learn how to write and draw cartoons, comic books, and graphic novels. Whether you are a writer who thinks they can’t draw or an artist who thinks they can’t write, you might be surprised at what you can do. Timothy Young, who has written and illustrated 13 books, will teach creative techniques that you can use to become a visual storyteller. Summer Reading Celebration
Wednesday, August 14, 10:30 a.m. Celebrate the end of summer at your library! Drop in for snacks, crafts, LEGO bricks, and sidewalk chalk to celebrate all the fun you had reading this summer! All completed game boards turned in by August 12 will be entered into our Summer Reading Grand Prize Drawing.
