Chesapeake Film Festival is pleased to announce a special event, the “Women in Film” Luncheon on Saturday, September 20th at 2:00 PM at Scossa Restaurant & Lounge, 8 N. Washington Street, Easton.
Chesapeake Film Festival’s mission includes “educate and inspire.” When CFF announced this year’s slate of films, the Festival Committee realized there was a wealth of female filmmakers who have interesting stories to share. The luncheon is designed to be an intimate conversation set in an elegant space. “We have been fortunate to develop filmmaker relationships over the years and want to open those relationships up to our local audience,” said Tracy Beckett the programming director for the festival.
