Project Rewind- Talbot County: The Oxford Regatta is this weekend and the beautiful Log Canoes will be part of that racing event! The archive information for this Talbot Historical Society H. Robins Hollyday Collection photo taken in 1932 identifies Mystery on the left and Flying Cloud on the right. Mystery was build by Price Sinclair of Oxford for John D. Williams and Flying Cloud was built in 1932 by John B. Harrison. The sails were made by David Pritchard who taught Oxford’s Downes Curtis the art of sailmaking. Enjoy this gorgeous picture and stop by the Galleries at Neall House to view the Talbot Historical Society Log Canoe exhibit on a Saturday 10-4 until September 17th.
