University of Maryland Shore Regional Health announces the appointment of three new members to its 24-member Board of Directors, which consists of business and community leaders and physicians drawn from the five-county region served by UM SRH.
Joining the UM Shore Regional Health Board are Myra S. Butler, of Chestertown; Art Cecil, III, of Easton; and William B. Noll, of Worton.
Myra S. Butler is the director of Kent County Parks and Recreation. She is a life-long resident of Kent County and has worked in the county for all but one of her 25 professional years. She is involved in a variety of community activities and boards, including past chair of Family and Community Partnerships of Kent County; officer of Maryland Recreation and Parks Association’s Recreation and Leisure Services Branch; Kent County Adolescent and Substance Abuse Coalition; and Chester River Health Foundation.
Art Cecil III is retired from a career in finance, having worked with the Maryland National Bank and T. Rowe Price. His volunteer work includes Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital at Easton; Talbot Mentors; Talbot Historical Society; Habitat for Humanity; and Mid-Shore Community Foundation. He holds a BA in Economics from the College of William and Mary and obtained his CFA and MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore.
William B. Noll retired in 2008 after 25 years with Motors Insurance Corporation, where he worked in many capacities including chief financial officer and president. He is past president of the United Way of Kent County and has served as treasurer of Main Street Historic Chestertown. Noll is also a consultant with the Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE), and currently serves as chairperson of the Upper Shore Chapter. He holds a BS in Accounting from University of Maryland, College Park.

Ciotola, MD; from Oxford, John Dillon, chairman; from Preston, Wayne Howard; from Queenstown, Kathleen Deoudes; from St. Michaels, John W. Ashworth; from Trappe, Marlene Feldman and Thomas Stauch, MD; and from Worton, Robert Swam.
