Building African American Minds (BAAM) Inc. will host the third annual BAAM Fest on Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Idlewild Park in Easton, MD. The Fest will celebrate the partners BAAM has collaborated with in helping African American males become productive, confident citizens through positive academic, social, emotional, and spiritual experiences as children and young men.
There will be informational booths, musical entertainment by the Bowie-based band the Exclusives and DJ Randy, giveaways and door prizes, face painting, a clown show, Stepping by Easton Middle School Steppers, and a basketball tournament. Free food will be provided by Frase’s Grills on Wheels of Preston, offering hot dogs, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and side dishes.
