Through November 25, 717 Gallery in Easton presents “Water Water Everywhere!”featuring paintings by Louis Escobedo, a nationally-recognized artist exclusively represented by the gallery. In this exhibit, Escobedo, with his striking use of color and composition, and eye for capturing the uncommon, has created picturesque depictions of the Chesapeake Bay’s unique landscapes, waterways, and marine scenes.
717 Gallery is pleased to announce that Louis Escobedo, a Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA), has been accepted from hundreds of applicants into two highly competitive OPA exhibitions. Escobedo’s painting “Salad” was accepted into the 2016 OPA Eastern Regional Exhibition of Traditional Oils, held at the Eisele Gallery of Fine Art in Cincinnati, Ohio through October 8, 2016. Another painting titled “12th Street” was accepted into this year’s OPA Salon Show of Traditional Oils, held at the Castle Gallery of Fine Art in Fort Wayne, Indiana through October 29, 2016.
Looking ahead, Escobedo returns to his Western roots with a special show, “Postcards from the West,” presented by 717 Gallery on November 4-9 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
