Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy (MRC) is pleased to announce that the film it produced over this past year, Let Our Rivers Flow, which aired several times on Maryland Public Television, has been chosen as an official selection of the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival (WSEFF) for 2013.
WSEFF is the largest environmental film festival of its kind. Let Our Rivers Flow, will premier at the kick off event for this year’s festival in Nevada City, California, in January, and then will be available to be screened and included in venues in over 100 cities that host film festival programs across the country. Being selected puts MRC in the company of some of the finest and most innovative conservation filmmakers in the world. This is quite an honor, particularly considering that MRC made the film virtually entirely on donated effort.
There is no need to travel to California to see world-class conservation movies. Our 3rd annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival is on November 16, 6:00 pm, at the Avalon Theatre in Easton, Maryland. The $50 ticket includes an open bar and food this year, as well as the silent auction and films. Proceeds go to support the work of Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy.
To purchase tickets please contact the Avalon Theatre: www.avalontheatre.com or Box Office 410- 822- 7299. For any other information please contact Natalie Costanzo at the Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy at [email protected] or 443-385-0511.
For more information on the film, Let Our Rivers Flow please contact Tim Junkin, Executive Director on 443 385 0511 (office) or 301 980 0634 (cell).
