The following is a short list of events sponsored by the Democratic Women’s Club of Talbot County upcoming in the months of April and May, including speaking engagements with Bill Tilghman, John LaFerla, and Governor Martin O’Malley.
* Wednesday, April 9: Tilghman and LaFerla speak to the Democratic Women’s Club of Talbot County. Open to public. Start time is 6 p.m., though the first few minutes will be club’s business meeting. The meeting will take place upstairs at the Visitors’ Center on Harrison Street in Easton.
* Sunday, May 4: Democratic Women’s Club of Talbot County annual meeting, 2 p.m. at MEBA, the Calhoun Engineering school on Route 33 between Easton and St. Michaels. Gov. Martin O’Malley is the main speaker; he’ll be introduced by former Gov. Harry Hughes. Open to the public.
* Saturday, May 10: Democratic Women’s Club of Talbot County breakfast with Heather Mizeur, 9 a.m. at Dennys on Route 50 in Easton. Open to the public. Breakfast must be purchased individually.
