Easton – On June 11, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kathryn Elizabeth Meehan, 57 of Easton, MD on an outstanding warrant issued by a District Court Commissioner. Meehan was charged with harassment, stalking, theft, rogue and vagabond, unlawful taking of motor vehicle, telephone misuse and personate a police officer. The charges were obtained as a result of a complaint filed by Amanda P. Derosier of Easton, MD to the District Court Commissioner. Meehan was ordered held on a $7,500.00 bond.
Trappe – On June 9, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a concerned citizen in reference to a suspicious person possibly involved in distributing illegal drugs at the Windy Hill Landing. Responding Deputies observed Brandon Lee Greene, 20 of Trappe, MD exiting the Landing on a bicycle acting in a suspicious manner. Greene was carrying a backpack which he consented to have searched. The Deputies located hidden in a zippered compartment, an eleven inch long serrated knife, a pistol style air pistol, marijuana and paraphernalia. Greene was placed under arrest, processed and taken before a District Court Commissioner who released him on his personal recognizance.
Easton – On June 10, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 28000 block of Pleasant Valley Drive for a 911 hang up. Upon arrival, the Deputies observed a silver Toyota Corolla occupied by Charles Lee Lattea, 31 of Easton, MD, who was driving erratically towards the Deputies. Lattea was ordered to stop and became confrontational with Deputies. The Deputies observed Lattea had a self inflicted wound to his wrist and again ordered him out of the vehicle. Lattea accelerated and attempted to drive away; however Emergency vehicles blocked his path. Lattea was apprehended and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and was released to Easton Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
