A few days ago, the Talbot Spy was alerted through WBOC that a report had just been released that named Easton as the 2nd best city to live in Maryland.
While the source’s name for this survey, CreditDonkey.com, was not quite a confidence builder, their metrics struck us as spot on for evaluating a place to live.
The CreditDonkey survey included prime rate, commute time, income, education and restaurants per capita. While it might have been nice to also highlight access to recreation and art/cultural opportunities, and we all which city who would win that category, but for establishing a baseline for, in essence, a quality of life, we thought those were good enough.
